SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Freezing levels reach 2000 m with around 5-10 cm of snow expected above, mostly rain below. Moderate southerly winds.Â
SUNDAY: Freezing levels remain high, around 2000 m. Mostly cloudy with 10 mm of rain during the day. The highest peaks near the north boundary of the region may see 10-15 cm of snow. Moderate southwest winds.Â
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with clear spells during the afternoon. Isolated flurries bring another 5 cm above the freezing level at 1800 m. Light westerly winds.Â
TUESDAY: Mostly clear with freezing levels rising near 2500 m. Light and variable winds.Â

Snowpack Summary
Mixed precipitation and rain falls over a melt freeze crust or moist snow on all aspects and elevations. The crust is likely to break down at lower elevations, with rainfall and as temperatures rise.
The upper snowpack consists of hard wind pressed surfaces and a series crusts. The mid and lower snowpack is considered well-settled.

- The more the snow feels like a slurpy, the more likely loose wet avalanches will become.
- Make observations and assess conditions continually as you travel.
- When a thick, melt-freeze surface crust is present, avalanche activity is unlikely.
