After a week above freezing, temperatures are forecast to drop below freezing overnight. Avalanche danger will be linked to temperatures and solar radiation. Danger will be lowest early in the day when temps are cool and solar radiation low.

Loose Wet

After a week above freezing, temperatures dropped overnight producing a thin surface freeze. This crust will break down rapidly with daytime warming.

Wet Slabs

Avalanche control yesterday triggered some wet slabs with crowns 40cm or more deep. Loose wet avalanches, or cornice failures could trigger these slabs.
