Forecast Snow Stability: Little change expected. The limited snow cover will continue to slowly thaw at all levels, remain patchy, well consolidated and stable throughout. Most snow lingers around the higher summits and summit slopes. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Dry overnight followed by a cloudy day, thick enough to give some light rain in the morning. It will remain mild with the freezing level above the summits. The Southerly wind will be strong throughout the period. Observed Weather Influences: A fine dry day with some early summit cloud and good sunshine later. There was a fresh South-West wind and the freezing level remained above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining snow cover is patchy, slowly thawing at all levels, well consolidated and stable throughout. Most snow remains around the higher summits and summit slopes. The avalanche hazard is Low.
