Forecast Snow Stability: The old snowpack will be stable and well bonded throughout and will firm up as the freezing level lowers during the day. Any new snow will be shallow and easily avoidable and will mainly be found on North and East aspects above 900 metres. The greatest areas of old snow will be found on North to East aspects above 800 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Strong South-Westerly winds will lessen in strength becoming light during the day. Initially, the freezing level will be at 1400 metres, before lowering to 900 metres. Light rain, with snow above 900 metres, will fall overnight and early Tuesday before leaving a dry day. Observed Weather Influences: A mainly dry day with intermittent very light rain. A fresh Southerly wind with the freezing level around 1200 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The existing snowpack is stable and well bonded throughout. Greatest accumulations can be found on North and East aspects above 800 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
