The weather will be very mild. Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be good. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will already soften in the late morning. With the freezing level at 3300 metres, combined with solar radiation, some wet and moist avalanches are still possible at medium mountain altitudes on slopes that have not yet been completely cleared in recent days. Careful route selection is recommended. Backcountry tours should be concluded early. As a consequence of the strong wind, snow drift accumulations formed. They can in some places be released, even by a single winter sport participant, caution is to be exercised in particular on very steep slopes at intermediate and high altitudes in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. Weak layers in the old snowpack necessitate caution. The avalanches can be triggered in the old snow and reach quite a large size.

The spring-like weather conditions from the late morning will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack in particular on steep sunny slopes below approximately 3300 m. The weather conditions fostered a settling of the near-surface layers. In its middle, the snowpack is unfavourably layered. Faceted weak layers exist in the old snowpack in particular on west, north and east facing slopes. Adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. Small and medium-sized moist avalanches have been released in the last few days.

The weather will be warm. The weather conditions will foster a stabilisation of the snow drift accumulations. The danger of moist and wet avalanches will not decrease for the time being.
