Forecast Snow Stability: The existing snowpack will remain stable and well consolidated. Most extensive areas being on North through East to South-East aspects above 800 metres in the higher coires. This snowpack will firm up in the cooler temperatures overnight, and through Monday morning, before softening again late in the day. Any fresh snow during the afternoon is not expected to be significant, and will most likely melt by the end of the period in the rain and rising temperatures. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: It will be mainly dry overnight and through Monday morning, then there will be some precipitation in the afternoon, initially snow on the highest tops, then rain to all levels. Light South-Westerly winds will increase and back to Gale Force Southerlies through the day. The freezing level will be around 700 metres and then rise sharply to well above summits during the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A dry day with some bright spells. Winds were Very Strong Westerly on the tops. Freezing level was around summit level. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is well consolidated and stable. Most extensive snow amounts remain above 800 metres, on North through East to South-East aspects in the higher coires, and along summit ridgelines. The avalanche hazard is Low.
