Avalanche Activity
The backcountry touring conditions are favourable.
Individual gliding avalanches are possible, in particular in the regions with a lot of snow. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.
Snowpack Structure
As a consequence of falling temperatures and very cloudy skies the snowpack will consolidate. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will hardly soften at all. Some snow will fall in some localities. Less snow than usual is lying.
Tendency
Some snow will fall on Thursday in some regions. The danger of dry avalanches will increase a little during the day. Mostly small wind slabs will form.
