Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain mild with the freezing level above the summits throughout the forecast period. It will be cloudy but dry. Strong South-Westerly winds overnight will ease by dawn becoming predominantly Easterly during the day. Observed Weather Influences: A very mild and cloudy day. Temperatures reached 11.5c in the glens. Strong South-West winds and light showers falling as rain at all levels throughout the day. ObservedSnowStability: Even above 800 metres less than 1 percent of the ground is snow covered. The little remaining snow is limited to deeper stream beds or corrie rims with the patches being moist but stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
