The backcountry touring conditions in the morning, after a clear night, are generally favourable. As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of moist small and medium sized avalanches being released will increase gradually in all aspects at intermediate and high altitudes. At the base of rock walls a treacherous avalanche situation will be encountered in some localities. Avalanches can in isolated cases be released in deep layers in particular on very steep shady slopes. The more recent wind slabs are in some cases thick but can be released by large loads in particular. Backcountry tours and ascents to alpine cabins should be concluded early.

The new snow of Saturday has settled to a large extent in all aspects. This snow remains in some cases prone to triggering in particular on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2500 m. The snowpack will be quite moist. The old snowpack is unfavourably layered. Yesterday at intermediate altitudes further small and medium-sized avalanches were reported. At low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying.

The danger of moist avalanches will increase during the day.
