Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain well bonded, firm and icy. The greatest amounts are to be found on North through East to South-East facing slopes above 900 meters, particularly on high plateau areas and North facing coires. The snow surface will soften slightly on steep Southerly aspects during the afternoon. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Forecast Weather Influences: Very strong mainly South-South-West winds. Partly cloudy overnight giving way to clear skies in the small hours of the morning. Mostly clear skies and sunny for the remainder of the forecast period. Freezing level will be above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: Fresh to strong West-South-West winds. Summit temperatures of around -1 degrees with no precipitation. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack refroze overnight and is generally well bonded firm and icy. Greatest amounts can be found on the plateau and high coires, mainly on North through East to South-East aspects above 900 meters. Elsewhere snow cover is limited and patchy. The avalanche hazard is Low.
