The fresh and somewhat older wind slabs are in some cases prone to triggering. They can be released by a single winter sport participant. This also applies at a distance from ridgelines. The wind slabs are clearly recognisable to the trained eye. Individual moist snow slides are possible, in the event of solar radiation especially on extremely steep sunny slopes.

Since Friday numerous medium-sized and large avalanches occurred naturally. The strong wind has transported the new snow. In particular at intermediate and high altitudes sometimes avalanche prone wind slabs formed. Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be quite good. At high altitudes and in high Alpine regions snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind.

The avalanche danger will persist.
