Forecast Snow Stability: Some fresh wet snow is expected over the summit of Ben Nevis, although accumulations are not expected to be significant. Elsewhere, the remaining old snow will continue to thaw and consolidate. Snowpack stability will remain generally good. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain wet with the freezing level around 1350 metres. Light to moderate Southerly winds over the summits. Observed Weather Influences: It has been a damp and sometimes wet day with the freezing level well above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is thawing and consolidating at all levels. Snowpack stability is generally good. The avalanche hazard is Low.
