South Coast.
Avalanche danger will remain low in the South Coast region until snow starts to accumulate.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Cloudy, 30-50 km/h wind from the northwest, freezing level gradually dropping to 800 m.
MONDAY: Mix of sun and cloud with some isolated snow flurries, 20-30 km/h wind from the northwest, freezing level around 800 m, treeline high temperatures around -2 C.
TUESDAY: Cloudy with a chance of light snow flurries, light wind, freezing level around 600 m with treeline temperatures around -5 C.
WEDNESDAY: Mix of sun and cloud, 40 km/h wind from the east, freezing level around 500 m.
No avalanches have been reported in the region.
The south coast ranges have yet to form a snowpack. Where snow cover exists, it is patchy and primarily consists of wet snow and crusts. Some of these crusts may form smooth surfaces that could act as sliding surfaces for future snowfall.
