In particular adjacent to ridgelines in all aspects: The strong wind has transported the fresh and old snow significantly. Until Saturday the wind will be strong. In particular transitions into gullies and bowls places that are protected from the wind: Fresh wind slabs can be released easily. Caution is to be exercised on steep slopes below approximately 2600 m. At transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack the likelihood of avalanches being released is greater. The weather will be very mild in the regions exposed to the foehn wind. Some medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large dry and moist avalanches are possible.

A little new snow. The actual quantities of new snow that have fallen are impossible to define. Over a wide area there is more snow than usual. More recent wind slabs are to be found especially areas not adjacent to ridgelines. As a consequence of highly fluctuating temperatures and solar radiation a crust formed on the surface during the last few days. Towards its base, the snowpack is largely stable.

The weather will be mild. As a consequence of warming during the day and the solar radiation, the likelihood of moist avalanches being released will increase a little at intermediate and high altitudes.
