Wet snow represents the main danger. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines in all aspects above approximately 1900 m.
In some localities up to 5 cm of snow will fall above approximately 2000 m. Adjacent to ridgelines a moderate avalanche danger will persist in some cases.
In isolated cases new snow is lying on a wet old snowpack. The new snow remains in some cases prone to triggering in all aspects at high altitude.
