Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack which mainly exists in the higher North and East facing corries will remain well bonded and stable with a firm surface which will be icy in places. Some softening may occur in areas affected by solar warming. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Dry conditions are expected with light variable winds, summit temperatures will be in the region of -2 to-3 degrees Celsius. Observed Weather Influences: A trace of new snow exists above 600 metres, winds have been light Northerly, the freezing level today is around 700 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is mainly in the higher North and East facing corries, it is well bonded, stable and generally very firm, with only the patches at lower elevations softening slightly during the day. A very light dusting of new snow exists, it is mainly superficial. The avalanche hazard is Low.
