Some snow will fall on Thursday in particular in the eastern part of the northern flank of the Alps. The new snow is bonding poorly with the old snowpack. In the course of the day soft wind slabs will form. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack in particular on steep north, northeast and northwest facing slopes.
