Avalanche Summary

Warm weather and poor overnight freezing conditions destabilize the snowpack, increasing the risk of wet avalanches. Start and end your day early, and move off the slopes as rapidly warming snow sets in. If you sink into wet snow above your boot top, it's time to move to a shady slope or just call it a day.
