Avalanche problems are small and isolated, and most slopes are safe to travel on. On high-alpine slopes where you find dry snow, look out for wind-drifted pockets, and be prepared to manage sluffs in steeper terrain. Consider the consequences of being caught in a small avalanche before you travel on slopes steeper than around 40 degrees.
Slopes may start to shed on Saturday as temperatures warm and the sun pops out.
