Avalanche Summary

You could trigger an avalanche in the new storm snow. The most dangerous slopes are where you find more than about 8 inches of new snow. Look for cracking in the snow surface or places where new snow transitions from softer to firmer as signs of a developing slab and indicators to move to lower-angle terrain.
