Avalanche Summary

A lack of overall snow coverage and multiple days into the spring transition makes avalanche conditions generally safe.

Whenever you plan to travel on snow-covered slopes in the spring, it's a good idea to start early and end early to reduce your risk of wet avalanches. If the snow surface isn't frozen or you are sinking into the snowpack, avoid slopes steeper than around 35 degrees.
