Recent new snow and Sunday's winds will thicken the slab on top of our numerous buried weak layers and make triggering an avalanche more likely. Avoid traveling on steep northerly and easterly-facing slopes especially if you observe fresh wind loading. Freshly drifted snow on Sunday may result in natural avalanches, so plan your route accordingly, avoiding runouts of steep, drifted slopes.
