Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe. If you were to trigger a small avalanche, it would be in a stiff area of drifted snow sitting over weaker snow. These areas are isolated on steep alpine slopes and appear smooth or rounded and sometimes sound hollow.
