Avalanche Summary

Warmer weather will help to heal avalanche conditions, but problems will persist on north through east to southeast-facing slopes. Below treeline slopes will be the first to improve. Continue to use extra caution where you find a cohesive slab on top of weak snow near the ground, especially on wind-drifted terrain features near and above treeline. You can trigger an avalanche large enough to bury you on these slopes, and you will likely not get any warning before they fail.

Small wet avalanches might also spring up on steep southerly slopes as things heat up.
