Avalanche Summary

New snow will increase the danger by making it easier to trigger an avalanche on buried weak layers several feet below the snow surface. You can easily trigger an avalanche on northwest, north, and northeast-facing slopes. Expect the danger to increase throughout the day as snow piles up. Avoid traveling on or under steep slopes facing these aspects of concern to reduce your chances of being caught in an avalanche.
