Avalanche Summary

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist. You can trigger an avalanche large enough to bury or kill you on slopes that face northwest through north to southeast. Strong winds are building slabs that extend far down the slope, and avalanches can break bigger than you might expect. Avoid northerly and easterly-facing slopes steeper than about 30 degrees. Low-angle wind-sheltered slopes offer safer travel options.
