The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Pockets of soft surface slab up to two feet in depth formed by west to west-southwest winds exist. These slabs could be triggered by skiers or snowmachines in the steep starting zones of avalanche prone terrain. The sensitivity of these slabs to triggers will increase as the day warms. Loose snow sluffs are possible on steep snow covered slopes if these slopes are exposed to direct sunshine or experience rapid warming.
