Highlights

Eighteen inches of dense snow containing two inches of moisture fell over the past three days. Avalanche control work at the Jackson Hole Resort Monday triggered several slides on a variety of aspects at upper elevations. The backcountry snowpack rests on light density snow over smooth crusts and similar slides, but larger in size, could be triggered today by backcountry travellers on steeper slopes at mid and high elevations.
