Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations pockets of new soft slab up to 18 inches in depth formed in cliff areas and leeward starting zones. These slabs lie upon slick old snow surfaces and were easily triggered yesterday. Deep slab instabilities persist. If triggered these slabs could pull out deeper snow layers all the way to the ground. Wet and loose snow slides are possible on steep sunlit aspects.
