Highlights

At mid and upper elevations soft slabs to 2 feet in depth have been and will be triggerd by skiers on wind loaded exposures. These slabs were created by strong, predominantly southwest winds at all elevations. With the increase in snow overnight larger slabs could be triggered today by skiers, snowboarders or snowmobilers. At low elevations heavily drifting snow has created the potential for easily triggered avalanches on steep slopes and road cuts.
