Highlights

South and east winds have formed pockets of new soft slab up to a foot deep. These pockets and loose snow sluffs up to 12 inches in depth will be sensitive to human triggers in steep terrain. The hazard will increase in the afternoon as more snow and increasing winds contribute to slab formation processes.
