Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Beneath surface crusts which set up overnight the snowpack has become rotten and warm. As the day warms these crusts rapidly weaken and slides to the ground could be triggered in steep areas, particularly where the snow is shallow or near rocky areas.
