Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is Moderate today. Pockets of slab lie on weak layers of faceted snow and crusts. These slabs range from a foot deep to as large as three feet deep at higher elevations and have been formed mainly by strong varying winds over the last week. These slabs could be triggered today by snowmobiles, skiers, and snowboarders.
