Avalanche Summary

Generally safe avalanche conditions exist even after a few inches of new snow. The few slopes you should watch out for are fresh wind drifts on steep slopes mostly found on the lee sides of a ridge and very steep, shady slopes where you can trigger a small loose avalanche. These small avalanches will only be dangerous if you are knocked over and dragged into a terrain trap such as a creek or off a cliff.
