Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations slabs to three feet in depth lie upon a layer of weak surface hoar on primarily northerly and shaded aspects. These persistant, unpredictable deeper weaknesses may require a larger trigger to release;like the third or later traveller on a slope. At low elevations pockets of slabs to 18 inches in depth lie upon a thicker layer of surface hoar and could be released on steep slopes and gullies.
