Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW this morning and will increase to MODERATE this afternoon as precipitation occurs today and rain is expected at even the higher elevations. This rain and warming will result in a weakening of the snow surface and the possibility of triggering wet slab and wet loose avalanches today on steep slopes, particularly near cliff and rocky areas.
