Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Soft slabs have formed from recent snow and wind with depths up to three feet in avalanche terrain. Colder temperatures have added stability to the snow pack however these slabs will be triggerable from loads such as snow machines on steep wind loaded aspects. Once triggered they could pull out deeper layers of weak faceted snow.
