Highlights
The avalanche hazard remains CONSIDERABLE today on the west side of the continental divide and HIGH on the east side of the divide. DANGEROUS soft slabs one to three in depth formed by west-southwest winds lie upon a weak unstable layer of faceted snow. Natural activity is possible and human triggered avalanches are likely in steep wind loaded avalanche prone terrain. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED IN AREAS WITH SIGNIFICANT DEPOSITS OF NEW SNOW.
