Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Strong winds and recent snow have deposited dense surface slabs in avalanche terrain. These slabs could be human triggered today particularly by larger triggers such as snow machines and not necessarily by the first one on the slope. Although colder temperatures have aided in the snow pack stability, deeper instabilities remain in the area and could release with these surface slabs.
