Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. New snow has deposited shallow soft slabs in avalanche terrain. These slabs could be triggered by backcountry users today. Although colder temperatures have aided in the snow pack stability, deeper instabilities also remain in the area and could be triggered by large triggers. Such triggers could be moving new surface slabs or snow machines. Snow machines could cross a slope several times before the deep instability is triggered.
