Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in steep terrain in high Alpine regions.

As a consequence of a strong to storm force wind from northerly directions, mostly small wind slabs formed. The wind slabs are clearly recognisable. In all aspects snow depths vary greatly above approximately 2200 m, depending on the infuence of the wind. Below approximately 1900 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. On steep sunny slopes below approximately 2500 m a little snow is lying.

The avalanche danger will persist.

Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in steep terrain in high Alpine regions.

As a consequence of a strong wind from northeasterly directions, rather small wind slabs formed on Tuesday in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. They can be released, especially at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example, caution is to be exercised in particular in the regions neighbouring those that are subject to danger level 2 (moderate). As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation only isolated small moist avalanches are possible below approximately 3000 m.
