Forecast Snow Stability: Above 900 metres, unstable windslab will continue to build in wind sheltered steep and isolated places, gradually become more widespread and deeper on mostly North- East through East to Southerly aspects. Coire rims, ridge flanks, steep convexities, gully tops and sidewalls will be most affected. Elsewhere, snow cover will be thin with many slopes scoured. Deeper deposits in avoidable wind sheltered hollows. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate

Forecast Weather Influences: Storm force Westerly winds overnight, lessening by daybreak to strong, generally North-Westerly. Precipitation falling as snow, mostly overnight, showers possible during the day and potentially heavy. Significant drifting of snow into wind shelters places. Freezing at all levels. Observed Weather Influences: Very poor visibility above 800m. Winds, strong North-Westerly at summit levels and exposed places, calmer in coires. Snow showers, sometimes heavy throughout the day at all levels. ObservedSnowStability: A thin cover on most aspects. Above 900 metres unstable windslab continues to build in isolated wind sheltered and steep places, especially where it gains depth on Easterly through South to South-Westerly aspects. Coire rims, steep convexities and gulls tops most affected. Elsewhere, snow cover is thin, but deeper in wind sheltered hollows which are avoidable. The avalanche hazard is Moderate
