NC for 11.12: Calm cool dry. The snowpack will remain well bonded throughout. Cornices on SE to SW aspects unstable Low Hazard.

Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will continue to consolidate and stabilise on all aspects and altitudes and be deep and soft in some places at lower elevations, where it will remain generally stable throughout. Any cornices above SE to SW aspects will remain unstable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: High pressure will continue. Clear during the night, a mix of cloud and sunshine during the day. Inversion conditions throughout. Light Northerly winds. Observed Weather Influences: A dry clear day with light winds on the tops. Freezing level rising to above summit levels during the day. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack continues to consolidate and stabilise on all aspects and altitudes. Sometimes deep and soft in places at lower elevations, it remains generally stable throughout. Any cornices above SE to SW aspects remain unstable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
