Forecast Snow Stability: Little change expected. Remaining snow will be firm, well bonded and stable. Some softening of the snow is likely later in the afternoon. Greatest amounts will be found in North to East facing corries above 900 metres and towards the main Cairngorms. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Another dry day is expected with the freezing levels remaining above the summits. Strong winds, initially Westerly but backing to the West-South-West in the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A clear and dry day. Much milder than of late, +7.7 degrees celsius recorded at 930 metres. Winds were fresh from the North-West. ObservedSnowStability: Remaining snow is very firm, well bonded and stable. Greatest amounts were around North to East aspects above 900 metres in the main Cairngorms. The avalanche hazard is Low.
