The wind slabs of the last few days have bonded quite well with the old snowpack in particular on steep sunny slopes. These can sometimes be released by a single winter sport participant, but they will be small in most cases. They are clearly recognisable. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. In particular on very steep sunny slopes and in steep rocky terrain mostly small moist avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation, in particular below approximately 2700 m. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.
The cold fresh snow of Friday and the sometimes deep wind slabs have bonded quite well with the old snowpack in particular on very steep sunny slopes. The old snowpack is well consolidated. Less snow than usual is lying. On sunny slopes below approximately 2300 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. Faceted weak layers exist in the old snowpack especially on steep shady slopes. Isolated small dry slab avalanches have been released by people in the last four days.
In some regions intensive snowfall above approximately 1700 m: Significant increase in avalanche danger as a consequence of new snow and strong wind.
