Snowpack Summary

There may be 5-10 cm of new snow at upper elevations that has been redistributed by southwesterly winds. This sits on dry snow on north aspects above 2000 m and a crust or moist snow on all other aspects. At lower elevations, expect to see a supportive crust on or near the surface if there is a good overnight freeze. This crust sits above a largely moist or wet snowpack.
