New snow and winds overnight will increase the avalanche danger on Tuesday. Investigate slopes before committing to features.

Precipitation: Trace.
Alpine temperature: High -8 C.
Ridge wind southwest: 15 km/h gusting to 40 km/h.
Wednesday
Cloudy with sunny periods and isolated flurries.
Precipitation: Trace.
Alpine temperature: Low -15 C, High -13 C.
Ridge wind southwest: 10-25 km/h.
Winds have created isolated windslab near ridge top & in exposed terrain above treeline. The 30cm of new snow is bonding well. Mid snowpack has settled well with a 2cm rain crust present below the recent snow up to 1950m. Another crust near the base of the snowpack continues to promote basal faceting adding to our deep persistent slab concerns
No new activity observed on the Icefields Parkway.
