Glacier.
20-40cm of snowfall over the long weekend has created a storm slab in the alpine and at treeline.
We're not into full winter conditions yet. If you do head out, expect to find LOTS of rocks, logs & trees.

Snow is starting to accumulate in the high-country. Rogers pass recieved 20-40cm of snow over the long weekend brining the snowpack total to 100-150cm in the alpine. Snowpack height tapers drastically to 10-30cms at 1300m. Recent snowfall has created a storm slab at tree line and in the alpine.
Expect to find hidden rocks and logs underneath the snow. Glaciers will have poor coverage with just enough snow to hide small crevasses.
Continued snowfall of approximately 10cm a day will continue until Friday morning with freezing levels dropping to 1600m.
