Field trips confirm a shallow but mostly supportive snowpack at treeline and above, but be prepared for battle below treeline, including getting across open creeks and many obstacles. Ice climbers should be wary of pockets of windslab sitting on ledges. At this point, we have very few observations to base the forecast on.
