Isolated pockets of surface slab up to 12 inches deep lie upon crusts and surface hoar.As temperatures increase this afternoon the avalanche hazard will rise on sunlight aspects above 9,000 feet where wet loose avalanches lying upon a well developed sun crust could be triggered by backcountry travelers. Below 9,000', the hazard is LOW as snow depths are shallow and avalanches are unlikely.
